Domestic Abuse Awareness

Description:

This face to face Domestic Abuse Awareness session is aimed at front line practitioners. It aims to increase awareness of domestic abuse and it’s impact so practitioners can recognise signs and respond appropriately.

It gives an overview of the Government definition, risk, civil and legal remedies, vulnerabilities for children, LGBTQ+ and older people,  perpetrators, how to complete a DASH assessment, MARAC process, safety planning, learning from DHRs,   and domestic abuse services available locally.

The training will take place from 9am – 4pm at Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU
