Children missing from home

Children and young people who go missing from home / care briefing for partners – including independent return home interview guidance.

 This short course is designed to support partners to understand and manage risk around children and young people who go missing.  To understand the factors associated with missing, to add a local context around missing reports and to take on board learning from CPSR.

The course will look at key messages relating to risk both prior to and during the missing episode, the push and pull factors and features of adolescent neglect.

The course will also provide the multi-agency processes and procedures around missing reporting, what to do and when, and training in the completion of an independent return home interview.
